Fashion Design

Gauri Shankar is a postgraduate in Marketing (2019-2021) from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Marketing and Operations and an Undergraduate from National Institute of Fashion Technology (2005-2009) in Knitwear Design. He pursued his diploma in Fine arts in 2005 from Rabindra Bharti University.

Gauri started his professional career in design with Color Plus Fashion Ltd with smart casuals and moved on to handle Design – menswear formal category for Raymond Ready to Wear. He has 11+ years of experience in corporate.

He Received “THE MOST INNOVATIVE PRODUCT DESIGNER” award at Raymond and has lead Raymond Khadi collection which was showcased under Make in India campaign. It was hosted by Miss Sumitra Kulkarni Gandhi the granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi & KVIC Chairman Shri Vinay Kumar Saxena as the guest of honor where he Received “OUTSTANDING DESIGNER” award in appreciation for outstanding design collection.

Gauri hopes to continue his journey in Academics and looks forward to igniting young minds in shaping what they aspire to in this VUCA world through his strong knowledge, base and relation with dynamic fashion industry.”
